Interesting place. Seems to have a unique idea but the inside is pretty small and it was awkward to have our tasting as they put a couple extra people in a small room so having conversations was a challenge. But their back porch is terrific and the staff was very accommodating! They have good knowledge on the wine they’re serving. Worth a shot to see if this is your kind of thing.
A lovely old house turned into a fantastic wine shop. The rooms feature wines from various geographic areas. The main tasting room holds about 12 comfortably, with other rooms seating 2-4. The upstairs is a great place for a party. There is a baby grand piano in one corner! The lower level walks out to the wine garden, a shady spot for outdoor tasting. The owners Don and Jennifer, and all their staff, have a wealth of knowledge of wines around the world. It's fun to taste wine before deciding on a bottle to buy, and they change up the tasting line-up each week, with a different theme.
If you have any interest in wine you must come here. The place is beautiful and the owners are the nicest people. Everyone working here is very knowledgeable and you can tell they enjoy what they do. I love that the selection for the tasting is constantly changing so you can come back and try all new wines.
If you are in Parkville, MO, Wines by Jennifer is a must! Great wine selection and small plates. To top it off, the atmosphere and ambiance is very calming. It's a hidden jem!
Rustic building that is nestled in homes just outside of the commercial area downtown Parkville. It has fun and comfortable outdoor spaces to enjoy some wines in the shade.
