My wife and I came to Main Street Inn for a quick anniversary getaway. This was our first experience at a B&B and now we will never stay anywhere else! Kathy was extremely accommodating. She provided us with restaurant recommendations and altered recipes for my wife's dietary restrictions. The location is walking distance from adorable restaurants and beautiful trails. All in all we highly recommend Main Street Inn and will be telling all of our friends and family that they NEED to come here for an amazing weekend getaway.
The Main Street Inn was a nice Bed and Breakfast in beautiful Parkville. My wife and I stayed one evening, and enjoyed the room and the hospitality. There wasn't anyone else at the hotel with us, and we ended up leaving earlier than the planned breakfast. The hotel was well decorated and clean. I appreciated the location being so close to the nature preserve and the downtown area. We did have several issues with the room, such as water pressure issues in the shower and a TV that didn't function, but those weren't enough to detract from our weekend. Overall, this was a very good experience at a Bed and Breakfast.

What a great place to stay for an overnight or weekend get away that's still close to home if you live in the KC area. The house and town have a great history that the owners are happy to share. It's in a great location, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars and the park.

Loved our night here. The accommodations are perfect and the hosts friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, everything was tastefully decorated and the room had a cozy, at home feel. The French-pressed coffee and bread served before breakfast was GREAT and breakfast was perfect for starting out your day. Will be going back!
