I have been here several times and I am always pleased and leave full ;) I first went when they just opened this location it was my mother, myself, and my then 2 year old daughter, the wait staff brought her out butter noodles before we got our food to hold her over, as we were eating she started getting fussy, the waitress came and picked her up and walked her around, showed her the fish tank and some of the kitchen. I was blown away by such a sweet act of kindness (that allowed me to eat a little bit of my dinner) . I have since then been back several times, the food, the wait staff and the atmosphere has always been wonderful. If you have never been or are thinking about trying GO FOR IT, you will not regret your decision!
The total for two entrees (which includes soup or salad and bread+dipping oil) was just under $40.
Found this restaurant after attending the Best Of party hosted by Pitch magazine. This place won Best Italian, I believe, so my friend and I decided to stop by and give it a shot. We loved it!
1st time their during riverfest. Food was awsome! Service was good at first. Got their at 4:30pm got right in as soon as it got busy service was slow I ordered water my date got a soft drink she got one refill I had to ask for refills of water. The water boy pasted us a number of times no refills. Empty plates stayed on the table for a long period of time. My date and I agreed we wouldn't come back a second time! Try at least once for sure! I had to give my check to the lady who sat us down since waiter didn't come back.
The service was great and the food was even better. I believe our waiter said that the only things not made in-house were a couple salad dressings and I was surprised at how much of a difference it made. He also mentioned after our meal that the kitchen staff is more than happy to mix and match dishes or substitute sauces to fit the taste of the patron (I think he said they quote prices for custom dishes). Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Fancier than we had anticipated but that made it more fun and we definitely didn't feel out of place.
We have tried going here on three different occassions. They are never busy when we come in, and we have been disappointed with the food each time. The waitstaff is nice, but it doesn't overcome the quality of the meal.
Great food and with the groupon and great deal. Bread and Italian butter was awesome and so much food for the money. Gets better every time we come.
