Awesome staff, very friendly and very knowledgeable. Will be making this my primary vet.
If I could leave negative stars, I would. My mom took her dog there and one of the vets told her to go see a specialist that wasn't available for over a week. The next day, we took the dog to see another vet just to make sure we were doing all we could. That same night, Dr. Rose called and told my mom that our dog was "going to die by herself over night" and that, essentially, we were killing her by getting a second opinion. I don't know what part of veterinary school she learned that in, but what a horrible, heartless thing to say to someone who is already suffering and scared. Needless to say, she has lost our business and our respect. I hope this will deter anyone else from going there either.
That's just the tip.... when I walked in and told the wonderful young lady my Lab was collapsing and in the car still, she was ready and hopped up to assist.
It is hard to beat their boarding prices. My fraidy-cat dogs love these women! The groomer is very good. Their treatment recommendations are conservative when possible and aggressive when need be. Give them a try. My pups greet them with a tail-wag every time.
on 9/10 I had to rush our wonderful Ella to Parkville Heights, The news was not good, We lost our 10 year old Lab.
Great staff who are happy to help and take good care of your pets.
She walked in on her own and after that I will say that Dr. Kaiser has a manner about her next to none. When she or her assistants walked into the room it was all about my Dog. and what the issues were, poured out tons of info and what could be done and was just not only an animal lover but so compassionate. Dr kaiser walked in and I could tell the prognosis was not good.
Dr. Kaiser said..... I'm going to break your heart. SHE KNEW this dog was my best buddy. we had to let Ella go. I would recommend Parkville heights to anyone who is looking for a Vet that cares about YOUR best friend. We have our dachshund who is pretty young still and I guarantee you will have to brick up the doors before I stop going there. Thank you to the entire staff who helped us through a painful event. thanks for being a friend I needed Saturday.
