Pompous and disrespectful.
I called to inquire about wedding photography prices and was very excited to speak with a local photographer. At first, Mr. Hejna was excited and helpful. I found that the lowest package price was $1,950 which was out of my price range; however, I was hopeful that maybe the package could be adjusted to bring down the price a bit. I asked if it was possible to get one photographer instead of two and he rudely snapped 'I can't do one photographer' referring to needing two for the 'getting ready' pictures of the bride. I mentioned that I would only want basic pictures of ceremony and reception because we have a modest budget. Instead of politely saying 'I'm sorry but we can't adjust the packages', Mr. Hejna decided to lecture me on how greatly priced his photography was in the most defensive and patronizing tone and while calling me 'kiddo'. If he treats a potential customer like this during the FIRST phone call, I am assuming that he will be equally disrespectful and patronizing throughout the rest of the photography process.
Gregg Hejna is by far one of the best photographers I've ever worked with. Gregg has a knack for making people feel comfortable during photo shoots, he is creative and above all extremely professional. Gregg listens to what you want and his work far exceeded my expectations. I've used him for business and for family portraits, I highly recomend him. Gregg is a consumate professional and that's what I love about him and his work!
